This Agreement is between the Secretary of the New South Wales Department of Education (the “Department”) and the New South Wales Teachers` Federation in accordance with section 14 of the Educational Services Act 1980. Harrisson also said the new staffing agreement allows the department and federation to meet the learning needs of more than 820,000 students by ensuring there is a permanent teacher in New South Wales schools. If the principal determines that a classroom teacher vacancy should be filled on a permanent basis, the principal will inform the hiring of the teachers of the requirements of the position using the personnel codes. The New South Wales Department of Education has announced the signing of a new staffing agreement with the New South Wales Teachers` Federation that aims to provide a sustainable workforce to public schools across the state. The Ministry will update its teacher promotion and transfer procedures and the school teacher selection committee procedures to reflect the processes contained in this agreement. The following principles apply to the organization and staffing of universities with multiple campuses. A multi-campus college is considered a regular comprehensive school for staffing. Vacancies identified by the College Management Group will be filled in accordance with the Staff Agreement.
2.2 Permanent staffing is monitored as part of the personal component of the school plan. In accordance with the previous Personnel Agreement, for a period of five (5) years after the establishment of these identified schools, all permanent positions in these schools will be filled in local elections. 1. A multi-campus college shall be considered a regular secondary school and, as such, shall receive its normal cash allocations, overall budget allocations, staff allocations and other relevant resource allocations as described in those procedures. Compliance with the Personnel Agreement is monitored by a Joint Monitoring and Review Committee (JMRC) at State level. This committee shall be composed of representatives of the Parties, with equal representation of both Parties. The department`s representation will include a director of the school operations and performance department. THE CCRM will be responsible for ensuring that the highest standards of honesty, accountability and transparency apply to the staffing of New South Wales Public Schools. “The agreement reaffirms the Department`s commitment to a diverse workforce that prioritizes permanent employment for Indigenous and high-performing university teachers, and supports the mobility of experienced teachers and teachers in places where it is more difficult to find staff through a strong transfer system.” This agreement covers the filling of vacant positions of teacher, manager and class principal as well as related matters from the beginning of semester 2, 2020 until the end of semester 1, 2021.
